    Something worrying makes you feel anxious. It makes you keep thinking that something bad has happened, or that something bad may happen later.

    worrying 講的是「那件事本身讓人放不下心」，主詞是消息、數字、聲音、一段時間這些東西，不是人的心情。-ing 可以想成「這件事一直往外送出擔心」，所以說 The news was worrying；-ed 的 worried 則像是擔心落到你身上，所以說 I was worried。中文兩邊都用「擔心」（令人擔心／很擔心），這是最容易混的地方。
