A helpful way to picture it: 'ease' is being able to settle — you sit back, your shoulders drop, nothing needs watching. 'Un-easy' takes that away. You cannot quite settle: something in the situation is not finished or not safe, so a small part of you stays alert, waiting to see what happens next. It is not fear or panic — it is the low hum of not being able to relax.
ease 是「放得下來」——你可以往後靠、肩膀鬆掉，沒有什麼需要盯著。un-easy 就是把這個「放得下來」拿走。你沒辦法真的安定下來：情況裡有某個東西還沒收尾、還不確定安不安全，所以你心裡總有一小塊沒有下班，一直在等著看接下來會怎樣。它不是恐懼、也不是驚慌，而是那種「鬆不掉」的低頻嗡嗡聲。有趣的是，這個「鬆不掉」可以住在人身上，也可以住在一段時間、一段關係、甚至一片安靜裡。
