    The feeling you show when you think that someone, or the way they behave or the ideas they have, is bad or not right for the situation. It is often shown by your face or actions, not only by words.

    「disapproval」是 approval（贊成）加上 dis-。可以想成：approval 就像點頭說「這樣可以」，dis- 把那個頭收回來，變成「我覺得這樣不太好」。它常常不必說出口——一個眼神、一個搖頭就算數，所以英文很愛說 look at somebody with disapproval、shake your head in disapproval。跟 disagreement 容易搞混：disagreement 是「我的看法跟你不一樣」，disapproval 是「我覺得你這樣做不好」，多了一層評價的味道。
