Looking at something someone does and quietly withholding your yes — not shouting, just refusing to give it your approval, because in your judgement it is not good.
有人做了一件事、提了一個想法，而你看著它，心裡那個「好」給不出去。這不一定是生氣或吵架，更多是一種收回的動作——你把本來可以給的認可留在自己這邊。approve 是點頭說可以，前面加上 dis- 就是把那個點頭抽掉。所以這個字的重心不在憤怒，在「我不給你我的贊同」。
