    「relieved」講的是「擔心結束之後」的心情：本來提心吊膽，現在知道沒事了，整個人放鬆下來。所以它幾乎一定連著一件「原本讓你擔心的事」，最常見的說法是 relieved to hear／relieved that…（聽到…／知道…而放心）。可以這樣想這一家字：relieve 就像把壓在身上的重量搬走，relief 是搬走之後那種輕鬆的感覺，relieved 就是「感覺到那份輕鬆的人」。跟 happy 不一樣的地方在於：happy 只要開心就好，relieved 一定先有過擔心。
