A hand that does not slow down. Care is the extra attention you pay before you act — checking, adjusting, watching where the cup goes. Take that attention away and the action still happens, just without the pause. Everything this word does comes from that missing pause: sometimes the cup breaks, sometimes the hair falls beautifully, sometimes the danger is simply not looked at.
