Picture pointing at the calendar without landing on a square: there is a moment in there, you just are not saying which one. Sometime leaves the date blank on purpose — and when it sits in front of a job title, it leaves the years blank the same way.
可以想成：手指往月曆上一比，卻沒有真的落在哪一格。時間點是有的，只是你不說是哪一天。sometime 就是刻意把日期留白；放在職稱前面時，留白的則是「那是什麼時候的事」。要注意它和 some time（一段時間）、sometimes（有時候）是三個不同的字。
