Picture damage done to a person by something outside them — the fall, the crash, the tackle. English then lets the same word describe damage done to feelings rather than to the body, and finally the person who was wronged in a dispute.
可以想成：外來的力量在一個人身上造成的損傷——摔倒、車禍、被撞。英文接著讓同一個字描述傷在感受上而不是身體上的情況（自尊、心情），最後還用來指爭議裡「被虧待的那一方」。所以看到 injured，先看被傷到的是身體、感情，還是權益。
