Picture doing something and then finding that a bill follows you home. Nobody handed it to you and you did not ask for it — your own action put it on your own account, and now you are the one who has to carry it.

可以想成：你做了一件事，後面就跟著一張帳單走進你家門。沒有人硬塞給你，是你自己的動作把它算到自己頭上，接下來也由你自己扛。incur 就是這個「自己招來、自己承擔」的動作，語氣正式，多半出現在合約、財報和新聞裡。
