    「expertise」指「在某一領域裡，經過學習或實作練出來的專業知識／專長」。它通常不可數，所以說 have expertise、medical expertise，不說 an expertise。knowledge 比較像「知道的事實」；skill 比較像「做得好的能力」；talent／gift 比較像「天生的本事」。expertise 用在「某個專門領域裡練出來的那份專長」。一種想法是：它可以想成「專家身上帶著的那份專長」——字裡就有 expert。
