The act of working together with others to reach something you all want.
合作
Picture two people carrying one long table. Neither can move it alone, and neither is in charge of the other — they just have to lift at the same moment and walk in the same direction. Cooperation can be thought of as that shared lifting: several hands aimed at one thing, so the effort adds up instead of pulling apart. The word keeps that shape even when the 'table' is a project, a treaty, or a police investigation.
可以想成兩個人一起抬一張長桌。誰也搬不動，誰也不是誰的上司——就是得同時使力、往同一個方向走。cooperation 可以想成就是這個「一起抬」的畫面：好幾雙手朝著同一件事去，力氣才加得起來，而不是互相拉扯。就算那張「桌子」換成一個專案、一紙條約，或是一樁警方的調查，這個字的形狀還是一樣的。
