    「blogger」是人，不是網頁——是「經營部落格的那個人」，台灣就說部落客。可以想成英文有一台小機器，把一件事變成做這件事的人：teach 變 teacher，write 變 writer，blog 變 blogger。所以 blog 是那個網頁或那篇文章，blogger 是坐在後面一直更新它的人：說 I read her blog（我看她的部落格），也說 She is a food blogger（她是美食部落客）。跟 journalist（記者，替報社或電視台寫）不一樣，blogger 通常寫的是自己的地方、自己的題目、自己決定什麼時候更新。

Think of one person with a page of their own on the internet, adding a new piece of writing every few days. It is not a newspaper and not a company site — the voice is one person's, and what holds it together is either that person or one subject they keep coming back to.
