    「undoubtedly」是說話的人用來表示「這件事我很確定，沒有懷疑的空間」。它比 certainly 更肯定一點，語氣也稍微正式一點，所以在文章、報告、新聞裡比在閒聊裡常見。它的畫面可以想成把 doubt（懷疑）用 un- 拿掉——懷疑被拿走了，剩下的就是確定。位置很彈性：可以放句首當整句的評論（Undoubtedly, ...），也可以放在 be 動詞後（is undoubtedly）或助動詞後（will undoubtedly）。

Think of a speaker looking around for a reason to doubt what they are about to say — and finding none. 'Undoubtedly' is the word they drop in to mark that search coming up empty: not 'I have proof', but 'nothing here gives me any room to hesitate'. It is the speaker's own certainty being shown, laid over the statement.
