One way to hold teeming is to picture a container that cannot hold what is inside it, and what is inside will not keep still. Too many to count, and all of them moving. That is why a crowded market is teeming and a full is not. Once you have that picture, the rain sense is the same picture with raindrops in it.
teeming 可以想成一個裝不下的容器。裡面的東西太多。而且那些東西還一直在動。所以夜市可以是 teeming。塞滿盤子的櫃子就不行，因為盤子不會動。這個畫面一抓住，另一個意思就很好懂。把畫面裡的東西換成雨滴，就是 teeming rain：雨多到數不清，而且全都在往下衝。
