    「suitable」指「某個東西的特質剛好符合某個人、某件事或某個場合的需要」，中文說「合適、適合」。重點是「配得上這個用途」，常接 for：suitable for children（適合小孩）。可以想成一把鑰匙剛好對上一個鎖孔。跟 comfortable（舒服）不同：suitable 講「條件對不對」，不是「感覺舒不舒服」。
