One way to hold this word: something is closed, and more keeps being pushed into it. Air into a sealed cabin, gas into a small can — the walls hold, and what is inside presses outward. Now put a person where the container was. Jobs, messages and deadlines keep going in, and the week has no more room; the feeling of being pushed on from inside is the same shape.
