Picture someone looking ahead and seeing the good version of what is coming. The same lean towards the bright side describes both a person's outlook and a plan's numbers — and when the numbers lean further than reality allows, English still uses this word, just with a knowing tone.
可以想成：一個人望向前方，看見的是事情好的那個版本。同樣這份「往亮的一邊傾」既可以形容人的心態，也可以形容一份計畫的數字；當數字傾得比現實允許的還多時，英文仍然用這個字，只是語氣裡多了一點「你想得太美了」。
