A conversation or meeting where people talk about something and share their ideas or opinions.
討論、商討
People turning a subject over together in talk — putting it on the table and looking at it from several sides, each person adding an idea or opinion. The word names that act of talking something through. The second sense is the same act done on paper: a part of a piece of writing where the subject gets turned over the same way.
可以想成幾個人把一件事「攤開來一起談」：擺到桌面上，從幾個角度看一看，每個人加上自己的想法或意見。這個字指的就是「把一件事談開、談透」這個動作。第二個意思只是把同一件事搬到紙上——文章裡專門把主題這樣翻來覆去討論的那一段。
