    「analyze」跟英式的「analyse」是同一個字，意思一樣、念法也一樣，只有拼法不同：美國人寫 analyze，英國人寫 analyse；台灣的教科書兩種都看得到，看那本書是美式還是英式。意思上，analyze 是「仔細看一堆資料或細節，好把它弄懂」，可以想成「把一大團東西拆成小塊，一塊一塊看」——實驗數據、問卷結果、比賽影片，都可以這樣拆開來看。跟 look at 比，analyze 更用力也更花時間；跟 check 比，analyze 的重點是「看懂它在說什麼」，不只是看有沒有錯。
