From Latin transigere 'to drive or carry through, accomplish, settle' (trans- 'through' + agere 'to drive, do'). A transaction is literally a piece of business driven all the way through to completion.
源自拉丁文 transigere『把事情一路推到底、辦成、了結』（trans-『穿過』＋ agere『驅動、做』）。所以 transaction 的字根畫面，就是一件事被『推到完成』——一筆辦妥的往來。
