Picture an attempt that lands where it was aimed: the operation works, the launch sells, the career gets somewhere. Successfully describes the manner of doing, and what counts as landing depends entirely on what was being aimed at — a task, a business, or a working life. The three entries below are really that one adverb seen in three fields, not three different meanings.
可以想成：一次嘗試正好落在瞄準的地方——手術成功了、產品賣起來了、事業做出成績了。successfully 形容的是「做這件事的方式」；至於怎樣才算命中，完全看瞄準的是什麼：一項任務、一門生意，還是一段職業生涯。下面這三條與其說是三個不同的意思，不如說是同一個副詞出現在三個領域裡。
