Picture all the things going on around you at one moment, with everything in its place — that whole arrangement of how things 'stand' right now.

可以想成：把某個時刻周圍正在發生的所有事，連同每樣東西所在的位置，一起攤開成一張「現在的全景圖」。核心畫面比較像「事情此刻擺成的樣子、所站的位置」——不只是一件事，而是整個場面、整個局勢怎麼擺著。從這個「東西擺在哪、事情站成什麼樣」的底色，往實的方向就成了「一棟建築所處的地點」，往虛的方向就成了「整體的情勢、局面」。
