From Old French 'resourdre' (to rise again, recover), from Latin 'resurgere' (to rise again, surge up). The idea of something that springs back up to be drawn on again sits under the modern sense of a supply you can keep returning to.
源自古法文 resourdre（再起、復原），追到拉丁文 resurgere（再次升起、湧出）。「會再冒出來、可以一再取用」這個畫面，正好墊在現代「可反覆調用的儲備」這層意思底下。
