    「punctual」形容人或事情「剛好在約定的時間發生／到達」，不晚。核心畫面可以想成「剛好落在約定的那個時間點上」。中文常說準時（這次有沒有準點）或守時（這個人有沒有守時間的習慣）。跟 on time 很近：on time 多半講「這一次準時」（The bus was on time）；punctual 多講「這個人／這件事一向會準時」。語氣偏正式，邀請或提醒時常說 Please be punctual。
