The state of being completely full. Most often used for the physical feeling of having eaten enough — 'a feeling of fullness' after a big meal. It also appears in richer, more figurative phrases: 'the fullness of time' means the right, complete moment finally arriving, and 'the fullness of her joy' means the full, deep extent of a feeling.
