One way to picture it: a web where every living thing is a knot tied to every other — pull one thread and the whole net moves.
一張網：植物、動物、人、水、土壤各自是網上的一個結，彼此用看不見的線牽著。你動其中一條線，整張網都會跟著晃——溪水變髒，魚少了；魚少了，鳥就走了。這個字要求你換一種看法：不是一個一個東西分開看，而是把眼光放在「它們之間的連線」上。從這張網去看事情，就是 ecologically。
