  1. 1簡慢的、語氣冷短不客氣的

    Curt means you use very few words, and that shortness feels cold or a bit rude. A curt reply can be only “No.” or “Fine.” — not enough warmth, not enough explanation. It is not just “short”: a kind person can also speak in few words. Curt is about the feeling. The speaker seems impatient, closed, or unwilling to be polite. You hear it about speech and messages, and even a small movement, like a curt nod. It is a slightly formal word. In daily talk people more often say someone was short with them, or blunt.
