The skill, power, or natural ability that lets a person, machine, or group do something, especially something difficult.
能力
A useful picture: not what someone is doing right now, but what they could do if the moment called for it — the power sitting ready inside a person, a machine, or an organisation. Like a container with room still in it, capability is measured by how much it can hold or handle, not by what is in it today.
不是「現在正在做什麼」，而是「真要做的時候做得到什麼」——那種安靜擺在人、機器或組織裡面、隨時可以被叫出來的力量。你可以想成一個容器：重點在它「裝得下多少」，不是它今天裡面裝了什麼。
