Picture a metal box made for one job: holding a cake. Hold that picture and let the cake move through time. Before it is a cake, the mixture sits in the metal and the heat sets it into that shape. After it is a cake, a lid goes on the metal and keeps it soft. Same two words, same box of metal, two different moments in the life of one cake.
