    transform 講的是「整個換了一個樣子」，不是小小的調整。可以想成 trans（從這邊到那邊）加上 form（形狀）——把一個東西的形狀、樣子整個換掉。跟 change 比：change 大小都可以（change your shirt 也算），transform 一定是大改變，而且多半是變得更好。常見句型是 transform A into B（把 A 變成 B）。

Think of a before-and-after pair of photos where you can hardly believe it is the same thing: the same empty warehouse, now a bright . Transform is the verb for that gap — the change goes all the way through, not just on the surface, and usually it is a change for the better.
