A person who is swimming — anyone who is in the water at that time, in a pool, a lake, or the sea, whether they swim well or not.
游泳的人；泳客
Picture someone in the water, moving under their own power: swim plus -er, the person doing the swimming. Sometimes the word simply points at whoever is in the pool right now; sometimes it says what kind of swimmer they are — the same noun, seen either as a snapshot or as a skill.
可以想成水裡那個正靠自己划動前進的人：swim 加上 -er，就是「在游的人」。這個字有時只是指認「此刻在水裡的那個人」，有時是在講「這個人游得如何」——同一個名詞，一個看的是當下的畫面，一個看的是本事。
