    soundtrack 說的是「一部電影裡的音樂，而且是被錄下來的」，所以它同時指兩件事：電影播放時你聽到的配樂，以及後來單獨發行、你可以自己拿來聽的那張原聲帶（台灣常直接說 OST，就是 original soundtrack）。可以想成 sound + track：track 就是唱片上的一「軌」音樂，soundtrack 就像跟著畫面一起跑的那條聲音軌。它跟 score 有一點不同：score 只算純配樂（沒有人聲），soundtrack 連插曲、片尾曲都算進去。另外它是可數名詞，所以會說 a soundtrack、two soundtracks。
