Persuasiveness is the noun for the quality: how good someone or something is at making people believe or agree. You might talk about the persuasiveness of an , or a speaker’s persuasiveness. It names the quality itself, not the act of winning someone over (that act is persuasion) and not the person (that person is persuasive). It is a little more formal than everyday chat, but it is a clear, useful school word. Though actually, strong persuasiveness still does not prove that the idea is true — it only tells you the words or the person have power over other people’s minds.
