Noiselessly means “without making any sound” when you are talking about how someone does a thing. A cat may walk noiselessly. A person may close a door noiselessly so a baby stays asleep. Like noiseless, it belongs more to stories and careful description than to everyday chat, where people say quietly or without a sound. Quietly still allows a little sound; noiselessly claims none. It is not a word about a person’s nature — it is about one action, done with no noise.
