Ludicrously is the adverb: in a way that is completely unreasonable, stupid, or wrong. It often sits in front of an adjective to turn up the volume — ludicrously expensive, ludicrously easy, ludicrously late — meaning the amount is so far off that it feels absurd. You can also put it with a verb: they ludicrously claimed they had no idea. It has the same slightly sharp, grown-up tone as ludicrous. Very common with prices, sizes, and claims that nobody could honestly defend.
