In weather talk, low-pressure is about the air over a large area pressing down less hard than the air around it. Weather people watch this because it often brings cloud, rain, and wind. A 'low-pressure system' on the news can mean a storm is on the way, or at least grey, days. You will hear 'a low-pressure area is moving in from the sea.' Though actually, the same spelling is also used for a calm job with little stress — a 'low-pressure workplace' — but that is not this sense. Here it is always about the sky and the air, not about how hard your day feels.
