Longevity means living for a long time, or lasting for a long time — you can talk about human longevity (people living longer lives thanks to better medicine), or the longevity of a company, a marriage, or a piece of equipment that keeps working for years. It has a slightly formal, thoughtful feeling — people use it more when discussing life expectancy, careers, or how well-built something is, rather than in casual small talk.
