If a person, a team, or a thing is jinxed, bad luck seems to stick to them. A jinxed phone is the one that always dies; a jinxed player is the one who keeps getting hurt. People also call a house or a job jinxed. It can mean they often have bad luck, or that they make other people have it. This is simply jinx with -ed, used like an adjective. Informal, often half a joke — not a word for a serious report.
