  1. 1不變性；不可變性（程式裡常說「不可變」）

    Immutability is the quality of never changing, or of being impossible to change. If something has immutability, it stays as it is: the immutability of the past (you cannot yesterday), or of a law of nature. It is a formal noun; most people just say 'it never changes'. Though actually, in computer work this word has become very common: programmers talk about the immutability of data, meaning a value the program is not allowed to — if you need a new value, you make a new copy. That specialist use is still the same idea: it must not be altered.
