This is the adverb: it tells you that something is done, said, grouped, or opposed in an ideological way. Two parties may be ideologically close even while they fight over small bills; a school may be ideologically against another. You will hear it before an adjective (ideologically driven) or after a verb (they differ ideologically). Same slightly formal, political flavour as ideological — more news and essays than kitchen talk. It does not name the beliefs themselves; it names the manner.
