- 1help out (give help, often for a while)幫忙、幫一把（常指暫時性的）
To help someone, especially with a task, with money, or during a busy time. So how is it different from plain "help"? "Help out" feels more casual and more temporary — you pitch in: "I help out at my uncle's shop on weekends." It splits comfortably, and a pronoun must go in the middle: "help her out", never "help out her". "Help me out" is also a warm way to ask a small favor.
