A haulier is a company — and though actually, in British English, sometimes a person — whose work is carrying goods for other people in trucks or on trains. If a shop needs a hundred boxes moved, they call a haulier; they do not buy their own trucks. The tidy dictionary line says “company,” but an owner-driver can be a haulier too. The word is British. Americans write hauler, and they more often say trucking company. Keep it apart from : the haulier is who does the work; is the work (or the business) itself.
