    「furthermore」是英文書寫裡比較正式的「而且、再者」，用來在已經講過的話後面，再疊一個理由，讓你的論點更有說服力。它幾乎只出現在正式文章、報告或演講；平常聊天大家會用 also、and 或 plus。放句首時，後面通常加一個逗號。

可以想成：話講到一半，再往前推一步、再疊一層上去。further（更遠一點）加上 more（再多一些），合起來就是「而且，再補一個理由」的信號——同一個立場，繼續往前加碼。
