A way to hold it: force bursting out and not being held back. The word comes from fury — anger so strong it shows in the voice and the body. Keep the anger and you get ""; drop the anger and keep only the force, and you get "very hard and very fast".
一股壓不住、往外爆的力道。fury 是暴怒，那種怒不是悶在心裡的，而是整個衝出來的——聲音、動作、表情全都被推著往前。furiously 保留的就是這股「衝出來的強度」；至於這股強度背後是不是真的在生氣，其實可以拿掉。拿掉之後剩下的就是純粹的猛：同樣的力道，只是改成用在做事上。
