If someone is freckled, they have freckles — those small brown spots on the skin. We often say a freckled face, freckled nose, or freckled arms and shoulders. It is a describing word, not a judgement: in English it is usually said warmly, or just as a fact about how a person looks. Skin can also be described as lightly freckled or heavily freckled, depending on how many spots there are. It comes from the noun freckle plus -ed, the same pattern as bearded or talented: “having that thing”.
