To fantasize is to picture something pleasant or in your head, even though it is very unlikely to happen. You are not planning it, and you are not promising it; you are only living it in your mind for a while. People fantasize about winning, about fame, about a kinder life. It is a normal, private kind of imagining — though actually, if someone stays there all day and never comes back to real work, we start to worry. American spelling uses -ize; British spelling often uses fantasise. Same verb.
