If you are exasperated, you are very and a bit worn out by it — the face, the sigh, the “I have had enough.” It is how people often feel after something has been them. Common in speech and stories. Stronger than , not quite as hot as furious: more “this again, and I cannot take it.” You can be exasperated with a person, at a situation, or by a delay.
