    Every person in a group一個群體裡的每個人；all the people you are talking about你正在談論的所有人。

    逐字如果每個人都準備好了，我們就可以開始遊戲。

    「everyone」把一群人裡的「每一個人」一次全包進去，等於 everybody。雖然意思是「全部人」，文法上卻當單數，所以動詞用 is／was（Everyone is ready）。它指的是「人」，跟指物的 everything 不一樣。
