Drool is (spit) that drips out of your mouth, often when you're asleep, very hungry, or a baby who hasn't learned to control it yet. As a verb, 'to drool' means to let this happen. , 'to drool over' something means to want it very badly and can't stop staring at it — 'he was drooling over the new phone in the shop window.'
