    這個 dispose 是正式寫法，意思是「把東西仔細放好、排成某種樣子」。台灣常說「布置」或「排列」。How can we think of dispose? 核心畫面可以想成「幫每個東西找到它的位置」——花瓶擺在展廳各處、課桌排成一排，都是在 dispose。它幾乎一定會跟副詞或介詞一起出現，像 disposed around、disposed in rows。跟很常見的 dispose of（丟掉／處理掉）不一樣：這裡沒有 of，講的是「擺放」，不是「丟掉」。

Picture someone laying out chairs before a meeting, or setting the cups and plates on a tray — each thing put deliberately in its place, so the whole arrangement looks right. That careful placing is what the bare verb dispose names. It is a written, formal word; in speech English usually reaches for arrange or lay out instead.

可以想成：開會前有人把椅子一張張擺好，或把杯盤在托盤上一件件放定位——每樣東西都刻意安置在它該在的位置，整體看起來就對了。單獨使用的動詞 dispose 講的就是這種「安放、排列」。這個用法偏書面、正式（formal），平常說話多半會用 arrange 或 lay out。
